~ Resume of an Empress ~

Welcome!
~ I am Empress Jiyu Mononoke of the Rising Sun Shogunates. I founded the RSS to provide a home for gamers who want to be part of an easy going but structured environment. My mission has always been to provide a cozy place where you can play at the speed, and in the style you want to. The Shogunate harkens back to 2008, World of Warcraft, with historical context back to the Kurita Empire of MechWarrior where my online persona was created, and influenced by a love of all things Japanese.
~ I’m a gamer since early childhood, a former sergeant of the 10th Mountain Division’s Infantry specializing in extreme cold & inclement weather combat. When hell freezes over, you send in the Mountain. Later in civilian life as an Administrator type, I spent many years being an assistant who often functioned as, or directly worked with, a director to create and establish many protocols and routines for social spaces in multi-million-dollar environments. My charge and responsibilities were everything from hiring & firing to establishing hierarchy for personal, their placement, safety measures & inspections, training routines or corporate meetings & materials, HR functions, etc etc etc & 24/7.

– So Directorial and Administrative duties were my life for most of my life. And even before that, I was a child taking care of stoner-hippie parents and younger siblings in loving but humble conditions… Far outside my own choice, i was the little boy “mommy” my whole life, later a father (yea my kids game). So being someone who cares for and looks out for people, for communities, for those around me, has been a labor of love, a duty born of my nature, and my calling in one way or another for most of my life. Now retired, I use my skills in a gentle lowkey way to build fun guilds in games i reside in. Casual, but organized to support creative friends and their ideas, an old established structure & rule set that rarely changes to keep things cozy and consistent.

– Over the years these skills have been used to create wholesome and welcoming guilds that support a wide player spectrum, from lazy and chatty types, or wantziz to make a raid team? we can, have, and may yet again.

– I hope you will consider me as your empress, join the shogunate; bring some light and laughter to the realms.
